Last year CloudLinux released a range of new features to meet the goals and needs of different audiences. The features were released in waves, and today we’re delighted to announce that our development team added support for the Plesk hosting control panel which now covers all 4 license types available for CloudLinux OS.

Starting today, hosting providers that use the Plesk hosting control panel can install CloudLinux OS Solo, Admin, Shared, and Shared Pro and enjoy full CloudLinux functionality.

A big step forward in 2023

CloudLinux has consistently worked hard to analyze and address the needs of the hosting industry, including the latest trends – and our aim is to help our clients reach their business goals faster.

The main challenges for a rapidly growing hosting business are maintaining a competitive edge, addressing revenue stagnation, and managing resource usage. That's why, last year, CloudLinux product teams focused on specific functionality to help our clients face and overcome these challenges so that our clients can enhance  the quality of their hosting offering to the highest levels.

Now all hosting industry participants can benefit from stable, secure, and profitable Linux hosting more than ever. And we’re happy to introduce Plesk support for all versions of CloudLinux OS for hosting providers and individuals that use the Plesk control panel.

Why are these features important for Plesk users?

Throughout the process of releasing new features, a large subset of our clients and partners were excited for the release of the new CloudLinux features and were eager to know when they would be available for the Plesk control panel. Now the Plesk community can access all of the powerful new CloudLinux functionality, including:

  • AccelerateWP tool for WordPress, a tool that improves the performance of sites through automated optimization. With AccelerateWP you can detect slow websites on your server and offer a one-click solution that brings your WordPress hosting product to a new level.

  • PHP selector and HardenedPHP for dedicated and VPS servers. Now you can easily upgrade your customers from shared hosting to a VPS plan by shifting them to a server with CloudLinux OS Solo or Admin in just a few simple steps. All the important features would be saved on more powerful servers.

  • Flexible licensing: All the powerful CloudLinux features contained in our flexible license variations are now fully available for Plesk customers.
