Beta: ea-ruby24-mod_passenger and ea-ruby27-mod_passenger released

New ea-ruby24-mod_passenger and ea-ruby27-mod_passenger packages were released to our updates-testing repository.

We have deprecated ea-apache24-mod-alt-passenger in favor of ea-ruby24-mod_passenger and ea-ruby27-mod_passenger.

The ea-ruby24-mod_passenger package obsoletes the ea-apache24-mod-alt-passenger package on CloudLinux OS 6, the ea-ruby27-mod_passenger package – on CloudLinux OS 7 and CloudLinux OS 8.

Please note that the ea-ruby27-mod_passenger package is not supported in LVE Manager prior to v. 6.3.16-1 which is available for download from updates-testing repository.

Update

To update, run the following command (depending on your system and desired module):

# yum update ea-ruby24-mod_passenger --enablerepo=cl-ea4-testing

or

# yum update ea-ruby27-mod_passenger --enablerepo=cl-ea4-testing

To obsolete ea-apache24-mod-alt-passenger, run the following command:

# yum update ea-apache24-mod-alt-passenger --enablerepo=cl-ea4-testing --enablerepo=cloudlinux-update-testing

Installation

To install, run the following command (depending on your system and desired module):

# yum install ea-ruby24-mod_passenger --enablerepo=cl-ea4-testing

or

# yum update ea-ruby27-mod_passenger --enablerepo=cl-ea4-testing
