CloudLinux 6 Extended Support - Get more from your RHEL/CentOS 6 investment

Written by Sergey Khristich | Aug 1, 2019 4:00:00 AM
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 and CentOS 6 were launched on July 10, 2011. Full updates ceased May 10, 2017. On November 30, 2020, both will officially be EOL (End of Life) and will no longer be maintained. That means no bug fixes and no security patches.

CloudLinux is giving extra life to kernels based on CentOS 6 and RHEL 6.

The CloudLinux OS 6 kernel and the hybrid kernel will be maintained until June 30. 2024.
This includes full CloudLinux OS support as well; you'll get fresh releases of all CloudLinux packages till the EOL.

RHEL 8 and CentOS 8 are EOL May 5, 2029. CloudLinux OS 6 extended support, will give you the option to migrate directly from version 6 to 8 skipping version 7 entirely (CloudLinux OS 8 is in development now). This will give you more time to port and test your applications, and ensure a rock-solid and safe platform for your mission-critical processes.

Pricing
