We are excited to announce that CloudLinux is officially joining the WordPress “Five for the Future” initiative, marking an important milestone in our commitment to giving back and supporting the ecosystem that has helped us and our customers thrive.

CloudLinux has a long history of contributing to the open-source community, and our products—CloudLinux OS and Imunify Security—are a testament to that commitment. Today, more than 30 million WordPress websites run on CloudLinux OS, benefiting from the enhanced security, stability, and performance that our technology provides. We have always believed in the power of open source to drive innovation and improve the web experience for everyone, and this new chapter with WordPress allows us to deepen our involvement in one of the most influential open-source projects in the world.

Joining the “Five for the Future” program represents a significant step for CloudLinux as we commit resources to help ensure the ongoing success and sustainability of WordPress. Our intention is not just to contribute code, but to actively support the ecosystem that powers over 40% of the web. By sharing our expertise in server optimization and security, we aim to help WordPress continue to be a reliable, high-performing platform for millions of users worldwide.

Our team members have already begun contributing to the WordPress project, with several pull requests focused on enhancing security and improving performance. These contributions are just the beginning of our ongoing commitment to the WordPress community. We see this as an opportunity to collaborate, share knowledge, and make a lasting impact on the future of WordPress.

As part of our deepened involvement, we were thrilled to participate in the recent Contributor Day at WordCamp Europe 2024. This event provided us with the opportunity to engage directly with the community, collaborate on important initiatives, and contribute to the ongoing development of WordPress. Members of our team worked alongside other passionate contributors, focusing on areas where our expertise in server optimization and security could make a meaningful difference. The experience reaffirmed our commitment to the WordPress community and our desire to be an active participant in its growth and evolution.

As we embark on this journey, we want to emphasize that our participation in the WordPress community is driven by a desire to give back and support the ecosystem that has enabled so many businesses, developers, and individuals to succeed online. We look forward to continuing our contributions and engaging with the WordPress community to help build a better, more secure, and more stable web for everyone.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our work with WordPress, and thank you for your support as we take this important step forward.
