It’s finally here! Full IPv6 support is now live across the CloudLinux Network (CLN), and for all CloudLinux OS versions. Lots of you have frequently requested this update, and this can now ensure that your infrastructure is ready for the future of the internet.
As the internet continues to grow, the adoption of IPv6 has become essential for modern server infrastructure. By enabling full support, we are providing our customers with three key benefits for all server deployments:
For all key-based licenses, our systems now automatically detect and register IPv6 addresses. If a server is configured with both IPv4 and IPv6, the IPv6 address will now appear by default in your CLN portal.
If you use IP-based licenses, the license creation field in the CLN portal now accepts both IPv4 and IPv6 address formats.
For customers who automate their workflows, the CLN API now fully supports IPv6 for all relevant operations.
This update is fully backward compatible. No action is required for your existing servers, and your current operations will not be affected.
Our focus with this release is to help boost your future growth and provide maximum flexibility for all new deployments.
