What to expect from the Beta version?

Despite CloudLinux OS Solo is designed for servers with a single hosting account, a user can host an unlimited number of websites. And Website Monitoring collects availability and performance statistics of all hosted domains on the server, and reports errors discovered during its monitoring. An admin can track the uptime of a website and receive notifications about problems. A website Monitoring tool can gather and display information regarding the slowest websites on the server, notify by emails about errors that happened on websites and send you daily website performance reports.

This feature monitors domain availability and responsiveness. Performance plays a huge role in the success of a business website. Studies show that slow websites affect search engine traffic and user satisfaction, leading to poor conversion metrics and customer retention. The Slow Site Analyzer tool helps website owners identify PHP-related issues so that they can fix them before it affects revenue. It generates daily reports for the server administrator with information about the top N slow PHP-based URLs for all domains.

Another common issue that influences website performance and speed is slow database queries, functions, and external calls to APIs. PHP X-Ray detects performance bottlenecks across site configurations and code design and reports these issues to administrators. Administrators can then take action on a particular plugin, function, or query to improve performance.

With CloudLinux OS Solo, administrators are empowered to take action quickly before poor performance affects revenue and reduce the risk of losing potential customers and search engine traffic.

More optimization capability with upcoming features

With the new CloudLinux OS Solo rollout, our standard features will be available, but our development team is working on additional features that should make the administration of your website and server more effortless than ever. For example, we aim to include a single-click WordPress optimization feature that will make your CMS-based website faster.

Plugins, functions, themes, and server configurations affect the performance of a website. CloudLinux OS Solo will have a suite of tools specifically designed to optimize WordPress using caching modules and database optimization. Together with PHP X-Ray, site owners running WordPress on VPS can ensure their sites run at peak performance without issues and any degradation is reported to the administrator before it affects site traffic.

Our new CloudLinux Solo OS will give customers the ability to monitor and fix their own website performance issues. Using Smart Advice, users will get suggestions for fixing performance issues detected by PHP X-Ray.

Who Benefits from Using CloudLinux OS Solo?

We feel the new CloudLinux OS Solo is an affordable option for hosting providers who provide VPS solutions and dedicated servers. The new OS will expand the number of potential end-users by attracting business owners who aim to have a powerful server for their single hosting account.

Cloudlinux OS Solo users will have access to new services with a leading industry brand. With that comes reliability and a sound reputation for quality. Hosting providers have customer upsell opportunities, which leads to an expansion of the hosting provider’s product portfolio. Across the board, using the CloudLinux Solo OS reduces performance complaints.

Any individual with just one hosting account will value a fast and optimized website run by a high-performance server. Of course, these users also value 24/7 support from a trusted vendor. Users with just one hosting account want full automation that works out-of-the-box with minimal setup and compatibility with all popular hosting software, and CloudLinux OS Solo offers these benefits.

We started working on CloudLinux OS Solo at the beginning of the year, and now it is released to beta for users to test and provides feedback. Meanwhile, the commercial launch planned for the third quarter of 2021, together with new features for WordPress optimization. Pricing for the CloudLinux OS Solo is expected to be:

1 license: $7
2-4 licenses: $6
5-49 licenses: $5
50+ licenses: $4
