Kernel and kernel module for CloudLinux 8 and CloudLinux 7 Hybrid updated

CloudLinux 8 and CloudLinux 7 Hybrid kernel based on Red Hat kernel-4.18.0-147.8.1 and kernel module lve-kmod-2.0-15 are now available for download from our production repository.


  • CLKRN-559: /proc/diskstats is not readable for super_gid
  • CLKRN-575: fix false-negative cases in symlink protection
  • KMODLVE-256: rework a reseller init/destroy to avoid LA spikes after CageFS remount
  • KMODLVE-264: avoid potentially panic with procfs access in reseller destroy case

How to update

CloudLinux 7 Hybrid:

yum update kernel kmod-lve

CloudLinux 8:

yum update kernel kmod-lve
