update_general

A new updated cldeploy script version 1.63 is now available for download from the CloudLinux repository https://repo.cloudlinux.com/cloudlinux/sources/cln/cldeploy.

With this script you can easily convert existing servers from CentOS 6.x, 7.x, and 8.x to CloudLinux OS 6, 7, and 8. The process takes a few minutes and replaces just a handful of RPMs.

Note: If you have an old script, the next execution provides the ability to download a new updated script.

Release notes

This cldeploy update affects some of our newcomers from CentOS 6 cPanel systems. If you convert CentOS 6 to CloudLinux OS 6 with 3 or fewer users, the LVE Limits won’t get applied to the users. For the rest of the system, the process remains unchanged.

Check the following page for the information about the extended support for CloudLinux OS 6: https://blog.cloudlinux.com/extended-lifecycle-support-for-cloudlinux-os-6.
