CloudLinux OS 7.8 Released

b2ap3_large_CL__20190903-134138_1

Today, I’m here to announce that a new CloudLinux OS 7.8 based on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.8 was released.

Known issues

You may experience a significant network configuration delay (1-5 minutes) while booting the new release with some really old kernels like 3.10.0-714.10.2 from the CloudLinux OS 7.4.

We highly recommend upgrading to a modern CloudLinux OS kernel to keep everything working smoothly.

How to update

To update your server to CloudLinux OS 7.8, please run the following commands:

$ yum clean all
$ yum upgrade

To convert from CentOS to CloudLinux, you can use the updated cldeploy script from the https://repo.cloudlinux.com/cloudlinux/sources/cln/cldeploy.

Changelog

You can find the full RHEL 7.8 release notes here: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/7.8_release_notes/index.
