RESOLVED. Infinite Loading Issue with NodeJS/Python Selector in cPanel
If you're an end user experiencing issues with the NodeJS or Python selector apps in cPanel, you may have encountered an infinite loading screen. This issue can be frustrating, especially when you need to manage your environments efficiently.
The Issue
When accessing the NodeJS or Python selector applications through cPanel, users might find that the page becomes stuck on loading. This problem is commonly accompanied by the following error in the logs or browser console:

This issue affects all versions of lvemanager between v. 7.11.8-1 and v.7.11.10-1.
Resolution
Fortunately, the CloudLinux team has identified the root cause of the issue and will release a fix in the upcoming lvemanager version 7.11.11-1. The rollout for this update is planned for August 29, 2024. Once updated, the NodeJS and Python selector apps should function normally without any further loading issues.

The fix has been released to rollout slot 3. To update, use the command:
yum update lvemanager --enablerepo=cloudlinux-rollout-3-bypass.
