CloudLinux has enhanced its Elevate functionality to include Plesk, allowing users to upgrade CloudLinux 7 systems running Plesk to CloudLinux 8 seamlessly. Here’s everything you need to know about this new capability and how it can benefit your server environment.
Last year CloudLinux released a range of new features to meet the goals and needs of different audiences. The features were released in waves, and today we’re delighted to announce that our development team added support for the Plesk hosting control panel which now covers all 4 license types available for CloudLinux OS.
Starting today, hosting providers that use the Plesk hosting control panel can install CloudLinux OS Solo, Admin, Shared, and Shared Pro and enjoy full CloudLinux functionality.
CloudLinux is excited to announce that our ground-breaking AccelerateWP toolset is now available on Plesk Control Panel. Anyone who uses Plesk Control Panel and CloudLinux OS with a Solo, Admin, or Shared Pro license can now activate the powerful capabilities of AccelerateWP to turbocharge the performance of WordPress instances.
AccelerateWP, initially rolled out 9 months ago, has proven very popular with CloudLinux customers. It’s been our hottest, most desired feature of the year and we’ve been working hard to deliver Plesk support as well.
In February 2020, we released CloudLinux OS 8 with the 4.18 Kernel. The rollout was a success as users experienced reliability and full update support via CloudLinux. Now, we are pleased to announce full compatibility with cPanel and Plesk control panel interfaces. While it showed great performance and strong workability on the DirectAdmin servers, the latest compatibility update adds much-needed GUI support, something web hosters will surely appreciate.
