CloudLinux has an ongoing commitment to supporting the diverse virtualization needs of its clients. In a significant update, CloudLinux is now officially providing support for Virtuozzo and OpenVZ containers, reversing a previous decision to limit support to hypervisors only. 

The CL Elevate process on systems with cPanel has been temporarily disabled due to an issue with retrieving packages from CLN channels. This problem, if encountered, would halt the upgrade process, leaving the system in a half-functional state unless reverted to a pre-upgrade state.

We are announcing the end of life for CloudLinux OS 6 (CL6) on June 30th, 2024. Here are the key points regarding our updated strategy:

The gradual rollout of the rollout slot-6 for the packages  

cagefs-7.6.14-1, alt-python27-cllib-3.4.6-1, lvemanager-7.11.6-1, cagefs-7.6.14-2 was paused due to the bug CLOS-2760.

The gradual rollout of the rollout slot-5 for the package governor-mysql@1.2-111, governor-mysql@1.2-112 was paused due to issues with installing governor-mysql@1.2-112 , which fixes the CLOS-2705 bug.

The cldeploy script has been updated to version 1.109, bringing a crucial enhancement for CloudLinux users.

As you might know, CloudLinux 7 will reach End-of-Life (EOL) support on June 30, 2024. For those who are not ready to migrate, we'll continue to provide security fixes for the foreseeable future in the range of ELS program.
